Caique

One of the most popular ways to visit the more remote beaches. Boats go from Ornos (for Psarou: 4.10 Euro and for Elia, Super Paradise, Agrari: 5 Euro) and from Platys Gialos (for Agrari, Elia and Super Paradise: 4.40 Euro).

Caiques were used as fishing boats but their owners turned them into taxi boats used mainly by tourists. It is worth mentioning here that before the port of Tourlos was constructed were used a lot by the cruising companies. Particularly the large cruise ships that had also Mykonos as destination could not anchor at the small port of Mykonos and that's why they anchored few hundred meters far from it and used the caiques to transfer the passangers from the cruise ship to the island.
